Annual Young Adult Mass & Barbecue

The Annual Archdiocesan Mass and Barbecue for Catholic Young Adults (ages 18 – 39) will be held on Sunday, August 5, at St. Helen's Parish in Westfield, NJ, beginning at 2 pm with a vibrant Mass, followed by an all-you-can-eat barbecue, volleyball tournaments, 50/50 raffles, live music, DJ entertainment, and lots of fun.

Special attraction: This year's picnic is especially great because it features LAURIE CAGNO AND HER BAND! Voted Northwest New Jersey Best Female Vocalist Award for 1998, Laurie is a vocal powerhouse with an incredible, dynamic range. Her energy is barely controlled and always contagious. Laurie has toured all over the U.S. with different groups, opening for acts such as Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, the Judds, Donna Summer, Frankie Avalon, and Lee Greenwood, among others. Closer to home, she has performed at Irving Plaza (NYC), CB’s Gallery (NYC), The Wetlands (NYC), Arlene’s Grocery (NYC), The Baggot Inn (NYC), Maxwell’s (Hoboken, NJ), Waterloo Village (Stanhope, NJ), The Stanhope House (Stanhope, NJ), Community Theater (Morristown, NJ), Outpost in the Burbs (Montclair, NJ), Krohs (Sparta, NJ) and The Sara Street Grill (Stroudsburg, PA).
