Jubilee Mass for Essex County Parishes
Saturday, November 4
Attend a special mass and gathering of Essex County parishioners at 6 pm at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Clifton Ave., Newark. Self-guided tour of this magnificent cathedral is part of the program. Immaculate plans to take a bus there following a brief prayer service in our church. Renew2000 Faith Sharing
Sunday, November 5
Join us for a session of Season V: Renewing for the 21st Century from 8 - 9:30 pm in the IC Catechetical Center, 1 Munn St., Montclair. For details and list of weekly themes, please visit our Renew 2000 Season V webpage.

Rose Center for Earth and Space / Hayden Planetarium (Rose Center Website)
Saturday, November 11
Meet outside Tegakwita Hall at 10 am and take the #66 DeCamp bus into New York City (fare is about $4.95 each way). We'll then take a B or C subway train to the Rose Center at the American Museum of Natural History, West 81st Street, just west of Central Park West. We'll have a fun-filled day expanding our knowledge of our planet's history, life, and place in the universe. Afterwards, we will have dinner somewhere in Manhattan, depending on group consensus. Admission to the Rose Center and AMNH together are $10; combination tickets which include the Hayden Planetarium Space Show are $19.

Fall Football (Amicus / SingleZ event)
Sunday, November 12
Meet at 1:30 pm at Brookdale Park, Bloomfield / Montclair on the field by the grandstand, to play a coed touch football game. All playing abilities are welcome. Afterwards we'll watch the NY Giants vs. Super Bowl Champion St. Louis Rams on TV at Maria V.'s home in Little Falls. During halftime, we'll order pizza and / or sub sandwiches. You're welcome to bring a snack.

Outpost in the Burbs Concert (concert list)
Friday, November 17
Join us to listen to Jimmy LaFave - the pride of Austin, Texas. His musical influences are Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. Daniel Simonis will open show. Doors open at 8 pm in back of the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton Ave., Montclair, (973) 744-6560. Music begins at 8:30 pm. Tickets: $16 day of show. Meet at 11:45 am in front of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 89 Ridge St., next to Clifton Ave., Newark. Attend noon mass followed by brunch at a nearby diner.

Montclair Community Band Concert
Sunday, November 19
Listen to popular and nostalgic tunes at 3 pm in the Montclair High School Auditorium, Park and Chestnut Sts., Montclair. Join us for dinner afterwards at Mexicali Rose Restaurant.

Mexical Rose
